Subtitle Lyon BD Festival
Lyon BD Festival is happy to take part in the Africa2020 Season by proposing a "Comic Season".
Seven talented artists do us the honour of participating in this project:
- Reine Dibussi (Cameroon)
- Ayodele Elegba (Nigeria)
- Shennawy (Egypt)
- Elyon's (Cameroon)
- Barly Baruti (Democratic Republic of Congo)
- Didier Kassaï (Central African Republic)

Each month, an original comic strip creation evoking one of the Season's themes, to be discovered in French and English.
À propos de Lyon BD Festival
Since 2006, the festival has continued to develop and to welcome authors in the heart of the Lyon metropolis. First on the Croix-Rousse plateau, the festival quickly took over the Palais de la Bourse, then the entire peninsula, bringing together more than 200 authors in the city's biggest cultural institutions.
For a few years now, Lyon BD has been crossing borders and exporting to the four corners of the world to develop ambitious projects, original creations, and to take an international look at comic strips.
Founded with the desire to give the city a great comic strip festival, the Lyon BD Festival is today one of the unmissable events of the 9th art, bringing together more than 270 artists and 80,000 visitors in 2018.
